The Wedding Party
Q.What type of bouquet would go best with my dresses:
A.The style and color of the dresses will determine the shape and color of their bouquets. If the dresses are straight and a solid color, you should go with a round, clutch (hand tied),  or narrow cascade and use colors that:
  • Match with a touch of contrast, or a "spring mix" for pastel dresses.

  • Contrast lighter shades for dark colors, so they aren’t lost in pictures.

  • Mix of no more than two colors for a floral print so they don’t blend into the dress.

If you choose a full skirt, you can go with larger bouquets or a looser "french style" bouquet.

Q.What does a flower girl usually carry?

A.

Many locations no longer allow flower girls to throw petals. Also, children younger than five are often overwhelmed with the guests watching and forget to drop petals. We recommend a basket of fresh flowers for her to carry with a crown of flowers to match for her hair.

Otherwise, she can carry a small bouquet to match the bridesmaids.

Q.Do the groomsmen always wear roses?
A. Many brides choose roses, but we recommend matching boutonnieres to their partner’s flowers. The grooms boutonniere should be a little different, and match the bride. Groomsmen can be a variety of flowers, again taken from the ones used in the bridesmaids bouquets. Fathers should complement mothers corsages, etc. We have many selections to choose from.
